Jim's priorities are improving our community for working and retired families. In the Maryland Senate, he has strongly supported:
President Obama’s and Governor O'Malley’s efforts to create jobs, protect senior citizens and expand health insurance for working families;
Closing tax loopholes for big business;
Investing in our local schools;
Getting tough on polluters of the Chesapeake Bay;
Fighting electric rate rate hikes;
Improving mass transit on Metro and MARC rail lines, as well as local bus service;
Limiting tuition increases at the University of Maryland;
